Charges filed against Current CEO Schanzer by Ex COO Nancy Mozzachio
CEO Bruce Schanzer is being accused of sexual harassment and pay discrimination charges by the company’s former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio. Whether the lawsuit will proceed or not, the decision will be made by the judge in Brooklyn.
According to Nancy Mozzachio on her statement last Nov 2 to CEO Bruce Schanzer, she says that he was giving improper comments to ladies at work. CEO Schanzer also called former COO Nancy “babe” and has made a few side comments about her breasts. Aside from those, CEO Shanzer is also said to make some inappropriate joke about bringing some Double Ds to work when the former COO was drinking some coffee. Also, the current CEO Schanzer is said to be giving out uncalled for hugs at work.
Nancy was then fired from the company as COO after the lawsuit has been filed. Nancy’s meeting was canceled and removed from the company.
During 2015, Cedar Realty the company itself started on digging up some information regarding the lawsuit when they heard that an external investigator has also decided to do some digging. However, Nancy stated the accusations of the female employees who were experienced the same harassment as well were never looked into by the investigators. There was even one employee that reportedly went to Wall Street Journal to share her experience about Schanzer asking about the color of her underwear.
